What they do:

Plumbing and heating technicians install, maintain, and repair complex supply and drainage systems in both new and existing buildings. Their work includes heating, ventilation, water, and gas systems, as well as renewable energy solutions that improve efficiency and sustainability.

Typical tasks include laying pipelines, installing sanitary fixtures, and setting up safety, measurement, and control systems. They also work on water treatment, wastewater systems, rainwater management, and central vacuum installations.

Work is carried out independently or as part of a team, based on technical documentation and project plans. The role involves planning and coordinating tasks, calculating time and costs, and ensuring efficient execution.

A key responsibility is ensuring compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations, as well as monitoring the quality of completed work and managing documentation and certification processes.
